My T-Rex (2010) Book Summary
Normal, Illinois is what the name says, normal. Nothing much exciting happens there to Brendan Brundidge, and his brother Richard, and Richard’s friend, Mark.
One overcast day, a mysterious carnival arrives in town, and the boys go to investigate that night.
The boys see gruesome, scary and unusual displays in the dark carnival tents, and barely escape a scary man with an eye patch and his huge watchdog.
When the boys arrive home, they learn that a miniature T-Rex dinosaur has stowed away in Brendan’s bag, and the adventures begin. The children have to escape the people chasing the dinosaur; deal with his special abilities at the same time as they try to convince their parents and the police that something is going on.
The children embark on a scary and dangerous train ride as a last effort to help the dinosaur and escape the man that chases him.
